The Rhode Island Pirate Players also specialize in combat re-enactment with rules, guidelines, ongoing training, certifications, and inspections of all materials used. RIPP tries to keep combat as safe as possible, but does not often pre-plan a battle. Instead we rely upon our members to act responsibly, obey the rules and let the best man, or woman, win. Some of our combat situations are private, while most are public, including most practices.
